Hi Kevin,
The humidity dome is used for a treat/hiding spot
and a place to receive needed moisture, It is of realy importence during their
shedding. This will moisten up the dead skin for easy removal. Without the the
extra moisture they will most likly have problems shedding, perticurlarly around
the eyes and on the feet. If they cant remove it it can possibly cuase them to
loose their eye and or toes which does happen. I have a detailed care sheet
