Hi, I am trying to find out if I have a pair of v-nigra or a male v-nigra and a female of one of the subspecies. I posted earlier and got a reply(thank you Magnus!), but he said that the females don't look any different than the male. I am going by the descriptions given in the book by Sean McKeown. By his writings, she should be a v-nigra, but she has v-shaped markings on her chin, and a blue-grey dorsal(comoraegrandensis?), but she has a light yellow ventral surface(v-nigra?). She also has a brownish "stripe" down her side that fades into her ventral. Please help.
Thank you, in advance.....
