Title: Re: [Gecko] undescribed Uroplatus
Thanks Robert, it seems there are only guesses around right now about
this species. They are very bark-like, but more rough than other Uros.
Sometimes they show green bits or light patches, other times more grey or
brown. The tail does seem to be a large flap of scalloped skin, there is some variation in
tail shape as well. See attached photo.

I have 5.3, hopefully they'll all acclimate.

Bill Love might have some info. I talked to him during the summer about them. He hadn't encountered any in the wild, but at Olaf Pronk's place, there was an undescribed species. Bill didn't know if it was the same species I was talking about. He said the tail was scalloped and he described it as almost liek extra skin (not flaps) that was scalloped. Otherwise, that's all I know. How many do you have? Are they all so lichenous? --- "Neil A. Meister" wrote: > Does anyone out there have any info on the > undescribed "spiny" > Uroplatus?
