I keep mine (2) in heavily planted 20 gall tanks, with a layer of sheet moss over a layer of gravel (for drainage) and lots of hides... I had similar problems finding info on them. Mine aren't kept as warm, around 70F and fairly humid. When I got mine (3 years ago) they were horribly thin, it took a long time for them to put on weight. They certainly are noisy, I almost feel bad that I don't have females for them!
