Hi gang,
Just thumbing through the GGA photos, and saw Naultinus elegans elegans
"yellow"; quite a beautiful animal.
Which begs the question; why are they not in captivity (or at least not
commonly) and, is anyone working with the yellow form? Seems like that would
be quite a money maker.
Assuming New Zealand's export laws are anything like Australia's, I can
understand why they aren't commonly available.
But certainly it seems that the right person with the right connections and
the right CITES or similar permits should be able to legally export a few
and begin breeding them...
Just some food for thought.
Have a great weekend!
Regards,
Neal Grant
