hi everyone,
my question is pressing....i have a large, well planted enclosure (6x2x3ft)
originally with 8 tokays in it and they just recently started dying off. a
while back i wrote about a tokay that died who may have had an infected
tail. it appears that that was not the cause of its death because i am now
down to five (all three with the same quick death) and want to stop the
epidemic before they are all gone. they have been perfectly ok for about a
year now and i can't seem to figure out a cause that would strike so quickly
and without symptom. i haven't got a vet close by and was wondering if
anyone could give a possible diagnosis so that i might treat the ones that
are still alive. there are no real symptoms besides seeming a little skinny
around the waist at the back legs (but only by the legs). they are fine one
day and the next they are slowly dying, still having some movement in some
limbs, or already dead and rigid.
your help would be much appreciated as i do not want any more of my tokays
dying.
thanks in advance,
nathan
