I was able to use USPS Express Mail the other day for the first time
since 9/11. I shipped from the SLC airport USPS terminal to the LA area
and the package was picked up at a post office there. I was told it is
available as long as USPS has an airline going to your destination that
will accept live animals. Worked great and was much less expensive than
Continental Airlines, the only other carrier I've used since 9/11. I
know Leann also reported using USPS.
