Hello Nathan,
I'm not sure that it is the same problem, but I knew something similar with one of my U.guentheri that had one swollen eye(in fact her eye was right but the space between it and cornea was full with tear) and that was due to a puged canal from eye to mouth;I came and see a vet who opened the cornea, released the stagnant liquid and gave some medication for a while. When such kind of problem appears,it often comes back again...
I can't tell you for sure your mammal suffer from the same problem, and
something strange is that both eyes of your rept. seem to be concerned...Nevertheless if that's the same think and if nothing is done, fluid volume might become so important that the eye can be gravely damaged.
Check for other opinions(specifically about sarasinorum eye configuation),evolution of your eye gex,and if you can go and see a specialised vet.

Subject: [Gecko] Rhacodactylus sarasinorum eye distention

I recently acquired a sub-adult pair of Rhacodactylus sarasinorum that seem to have a build up of fluid in their eyes causing them (the eyes) to become visibly distended.  The fluid is clear at this time and is not causing any noticeable vision problems, but I'm afraid that the pressure in the eyes from this fluid will eventually cause permanent damage.  Since I have never worked with this species before, I do not know what their eyes look like normally.  Do the eyes of this particular species of Rhacodactylus protrude more than others?  Is this some sort of bacterial infection or duct blockage?  Am I too paranoid for my own good (ok, don't answer that one)?  The male's eyes protrude more than the female's eyes, but all four eyes have this fluid build up.  I hope the picture helps!
