Hi all,

I have a bit of a riddle I'm hoping you can help me solve.

I was approached by a fellow the other day who was at a loss and was looking
for answers in regards to the death of his white's tree frog and marbled
gecko. The frog he'd had for months, and the gecko for weeks. The gecko (I
know its source) was healthy, fat, and doing well. The frog I never saw, but
he described the conditions they were both kept in, and both were excellent.

Now, over a period of four days, both animals dropped dead with no apparent
causes. The animals showed no signs of illness prior to their deaths, and
were in fact eating up until this point. The crickets were well fed and kept
clean. According to him, when he found the animals dead, they looked
physically fine (I mean, except for the fact that they were dead...)

He used a vitamin by the brand 'Mardel'. The interesting thing was that the
bottle had no date indicating when it would expire. I have no clue if that
has anything to do with this, but it can't hurt to mention it.

There were no changes in temperature, ventilation, or anything of the sort.
(believe me, I quizzed him on everything!)

If anyone can offer any explainations or ideas, I'd appreciate it!

Jen
