Figured I'd share this with everyone.  Really made my day yesterday...

Little history...

In the Summer of 1999 I purchased a pair of het for Rainwater albino leos through a 2nd party with the animals coming directly from Rainwater. The female was normal in appearance and the male is a patternless. The pair was breeding size by the end of '99/beginning of 2000. I kept them housed together for all of 2000 and no eggs. During 2000 I had learned of certain individuals who had purchased hets that wound up never producing albinos. Again, in 2001, the same happened to me, no eggs. This year (2002) I decided to pair the female with a Rainwater albino male I purchased in 2001. I did this as to find out for sure whether she was a het or not. First 4 eggs, normals (100% het for Rainwater albino). For the last week I've been candling both the 5th and 6th eggs. I was noticing pigment development in the 5th egg, but not the 6th. I kept my fingers crossed, but not enough as to hopefully not build myself up for a let down. Fifth egg hatched, another normal het. Sixth egg hatched lastnight.................................

Now to see if the male "het" I purchased is an actual het as well.

Later,

Chris
