i tried to help with the forceps idea but she is very skittish and runs away. i was cleaning the cage today and had to take the gex out anyway so i grabbed her lightly with a blanket and tried the forceps again....this worked for all parts except the legs so i will try the wet q-tip idea. i will wait some time before trying again though....too much stress for the poor girl. the part that is still worrying me is the vent area....i got the skin off from the outside but there appears to be a small piece sticking out from her vent still...will grabbing this with forceps be ok to remove it?
thanks for the tips,
nathan
