My female Pegu gecko took a flying leap from off of its perch after a cricket yesterday and landed face first. Now her jaw is broken and hanging in an odd manor. She is still drinking well, but of course isnt eating ( even though she tries ). Is there a way to splint her small jaw or anything else that I can do? Shes ok for now, but Im sure that wont last.
Im not sure what caused such an easy break. Shes laid two eggs in the last couple of months an that might have depleted her calcium, but up untill now she has always been very healthy. shes a long term animal and has been a good eater.
Should I put her out of her misery?
