These are her first eggs this year. She has had chronic shedding problems. She has
been to the vet several times, had many fecals and we have not found the reason for
her problems. All my others are fine with the same husbandry. The only thing that I
can think of is she is VERY high strung, even for a Grandis. She is an escape artist.
She rushes me when I open her cage to feed her. I can almost hear her yelling
COWABUNGA! She has lost her tail 3 times while being caught. Isn't it true that there
is all ways one problem in the crowd?
Thanks, Julie,
Cyndy

Hi Cyndy,

Don't bother. Good eggs look good! In breeder lingo these are "slugs" - do you have a
young female who is laying for the first time? If so, that
is pretty normal. The next clutch should be ok. If she continues to lay slugs then you
need to look at health and supplementation issues.

Giggle of the day - guy writing me about putting an anole and leopard gecko together!
:0 I remember when I thought stuff like that was a great
idea too! ;)
