On occasion I feed my leopard geckos (as well as some of my other lizards)
the meal worm beetles for variety. The lizards in general seem to relish
them. If I am feeding the beetles to smaller lizards such as Anolis or the
smaller Phelsuma then I will use freshly molted beetles. The adult leopard
geckos seem to have no problem crunching up the shells. Hope this helps.
