This name usually refers to Gekko grossmanni, a close relative of the
tokay.  Care is about the same as other common Gekko spp like G.vittatus
(white-striped), G.ulikovskii (yellow backed or golden), G.gecko (tokay).
Almost all these geckos are wild-caught so the animal may be stressed and
have parasite problems.
