Hi there. The only reason he is soaking now is that he had a little bit of dried urates stuck to his cloaca (males have this, too, right?). Just to be sure the area was clean the vet told me to soak him. He's actually in the terrarium in an open Tupperware container to keep warm. Anyway, the water will moisturize his bottom for when I put the Vaseline on this evening.
