Hi. I'm in Australia so I can't help with sourcing these beautiful geckos. I do keep them however & they are fantastic geckos. While they are found in Queensland, Australia, they are not coastal, only occurring inland- south-central Queensland I guess you'd call it. They do NOT like humidity. They like to be kept warm & I only lightly mist my cage weekly. They are (very unusually for Australian geckos) arboreal diurnal baskers, preferring to spend most of their time on tree trunks & branches. They therefore appreciate UV light & Ca supplementation. They are active nocturnal hunters & mine do well on appropriately sized crickets. They can be kept in pairs or MFF trios & are easily bred, producing multiple clutches. Reduce temps. during winter.

Hello Daniel,

I have Strophurus geckos but not ciliaris or taenicauda, to my knowledge
Michael Plank of BGR might be breeding S.taenicauda and i know a few people
with juveniles of them. They are found in Queensland which probably means
they are to be kept at fairly high humidity, i'll ask a few friends about
them and back to you on their care mate.

Good Luck!

Graham.

Does anybody have any info on S.taenicauda?, or know where I can get some.

And is there anybody on this lists that breeds S.ciliaris?

Thanks
Daniel Martin
