Does anyone have any experience with which Myrmecine ants will PDFs eat? I know John mentions Tetramorium on his site, but did anyone try any other genus? I'm thinking about setting up an ant colony with a queen in a formicarium and connecting the tube into a frog viv as one of the foraging areas for the colony. I want to experiment with how many ants will enter the viv and get eaten (want to make sure the frogs won't get overwhelmed with ants). Has anyone experimented with anything like this? Wouldn't it be great to have an Atta colony connected to about 20 vivs that would provide food for the frogs and trim your plants as well? I don't know if any of this would work, but I thought I would throw the idea out to be criticized and ridiculed.
And please, would some of the posters learn the difference between "their" and "there"? It drives me crazy.
