Hello! I just found your group, and had a question about a Mediterranean gecko I have. I found it at work last week. I live in Tampa by the way, where we have an established population of them. The one I brought home is small, I think just hatched. I placed in in a clean plastic cage with pebbles, a little hiding cave, a dish of water, a twig to climb on and several pin head crickets. I know he's nocturnal so he's not too active in the day, but he hasn't eaten yet, atleast any of the crickets. How frequently do they eat? I'm trying not to disturb him during the day, although I did lift the cave up to see if he was still alive. He ran out, and stopped at the side of the glass, he tried to climb up but couldn't. I noticed yesterday, he climb half way up the glass and fell off. I don't know if this is because he's weak from not eating? Any advice?
