Usually I lurk on this list, but I am reminded of a recent event by this story. We lost 4 leopard babies at one point about 1 month ago through a faulty cage screen. One by one we found them. One was living under the cricket boxes in the entryway (he was the fat one), one in the dining room. However, there was one which resisted all efforts to locate it. We know he was still around because we found his tail on the dining room floor. We do have 2 cats so there was always the possibility that the tail was all that was left. Then we were stting up a new tank in the living room (yes they have crept into ever room in the house)when we heard a small thump. The gecko had fallen off the ceiling directly into the new tank. Other than the missing tail he seems to be no worse for the wear.
