Lately I've seen a number of blizzard leopard geckos with some orange on the base of their tails. The body is very pale yellow, too pale to be considered patternless, more like a yellowish blizzard. The head is white, as is the tail except for the narrow orange band. I've asked the breeders about them, and was told they never showed the typical brown blotches that patternless hatchlings have, "so they must be blizzards". >From my understanding, blizzards are white, with possibly a yellowish tinge, but no orange, or am I wrong? Is it possible for a blizzard or banana blizzard to produce orange?
With all the hype about leopard colour morphs, I'm wondering if these orange tailed blizzards aren't really just poorly coloured patternless leopards?
