Thanks for the rec of the fecal acid fast stain for cryptosporidia.  You say if the animals "loose weight quickly".  What is "quickly" in this case?  I think she has lost weight over time, but I only became involved on 9-11-03 and was shocked to see the state of her tail, etc.
