Im just curious as whether this is a mating thing, a threat display, something to do with dominance, or perhaps a defense mechanism so that a predator would go for the tail instead of the gecko?
I've seen this behaviour regularly. No idea what it means. Maybe Neil or some other more experienced keepers have an idea?
