LOL, I keep my girl's cage about shoulder height.  At night when I walk past she lounges out of her hiding areas and tries to "pounce" on my head.  I shudder to think of what would happen if I didn't have double locking doors.  I thought I was the only one who had to use the paper towel roll on my leachy!
:)

You should see this gal. When she was shipped to me, she was out of her cloth bag and T-Rex was peering out of the box at me! Nearly gave me a heart attack! Things have not changed much since she arrived. Since I started using Alan Repashy's leachy food I have to beat her away from the cage slider opening with a paper towel tube just to put the food in!

Maybe I should slip some Prozac in there.............;)

Julie,
You have no idea...this girl killed her last mate, and he wasn't a
pushover either.

Mine got a man from Tim Tytle at Daytona. He is gonna need a few years
to be big enough to deal with that crazy broad!

Your welcome. Leachies are doing great, although my adult female GT is

a bit lonely. Gotta find her a man before she takes my face off.

I think that without a doubt Monitors are the most intellegent reptiles

out there...this has been proven by behaviors both in and out of
captivity. In fact, Natural History magazine has a featured article
this month on Monitor lizard intellegence and it's quite the
fascinating read...

Hi.
In one of the other mailing lists I'm in there was a question regarding

reptile intelligence. How "intelligent" are reptiles in comparison to
other types of animals? Are certain species of herptiles more
intelligent than others? Regards obeligz
