Hi Julie, thanks for the input.

Yes...this big male I'm most concerned about is 2 1/2 years old.  The other male I'm having problems with is going on his second year as well.  However...I'm also seeing the symptom in some born this past summer and a few females, but not to the same extent.

I dropped the specimen off Saturday and she was going to run it today so I haven't heard yet.  The droppings were very small, white, and dry.

I do have a scale...he's lost about 18 grams in the past four months.

I do not use any substrate, just plastic sweater boxes.

I have considered overfeeding may be a problem so I about six weeks ago I went ten days without feeing them anything and that didn't seem to change anything.  However I will slow down my regimen for the adults.

I do keep all of them separate, (except for babies) however I do understand I could be cross contaminating when I feed and clean.

I do appreciate your input. I'll let you know as soon as I hear from the vet.

Oh and for future reference, the problem couldn't be over-Mothering.  If that is the case, it would be have to be over-Fathering.  Don't worry...with a name like this I'm used to it.
