I was recenlty asked to build a vivarium for both tincs and days. The tank is 4 feet long, 4 feet high and 20 inches wide. I have been very good at setting up system with niches, micro climates and the like but I'm a bit concerned about the introducing of two species like this. the Phelsuma are the larger sundbergi and the frogs are the pretty blue and yellow Dendrobates tinctoius. I'm very confident about designing the landscape to help creat areas for each etc etc but what about the safety-health concerns of mixing species like this? the tank it sef will be filled with the plants, a full water fall and fogging system and the hardscape will contain the right branches of course so i hope no one try's to teach me about that. again, my concern is about mixing speceis, the pathenogens and the healthy of con-exisiting.
