Thanks for the info! This sounds like what UPS said, although you put it much better ;-) Yes, I had planned to use a heat pack. I'll check on the delivery options too.

I believe your next day air package will go directly to your nearest airport where it will go into a container into the airplane. Depending on the weather it will fly directly to the next airport and then to the nearest hub adjacent to where it will be delivered. Can you use heat packs? Also you may want to see if Early AM delivery is available at your destination. It's a little more expensive though. Next day air has a delivery time of 10:30 and Early AM has a delivery time of 8:30, UPS prioritizes the early am packages over regular next day air.
