Hi Elizabeth,

The reason I ask is that it does tend to vary in importance according to genus and species. P. klemmeri I would definitely let the female set up house for a week or so, same with P. barbouri. Oedura castelnaui - I have never had a pair have problems, have had many pairs. I would go a couple days to the female acclimate before male introdcution in that case.

Well, there are a pair of P klemmeri, soon a pair of P barbouri, and several Oedura castelnaui eagerly awaiting their initial meeting!

Typically I would introduce males days later. What kind of gecko?

Hi Folks---

When introducing breeding gecko pairs into a freshly

cleaned vivarium is there a standard protocol?

Females first, males 10 minutes later?
