I just joined the list, and wanted to say Hi to everyone... I've owned a gecko now for 5 months, and I'm really getting attached to the little bugger. He's much more fun to have around than my Red Tailed Boa :)
In any case, I was looking for some help identifying him. I picked him up from someone who claimed he was a "Velvet Day Gecko". After digging through a few online classification guides and some photo galleries, I think i've narrowed it down to the Blaesiodactlyis (sp?) family, Possibly B. Sakalava. I've got a single (blurry) photo of him up at http://www.greylurk.com/images/reed.jpg., and I was wondering if anyone could confirm that classification? He's definitely got the Blaseodactylus toes, and his skin is soft, as befits a velvet gecko. _______________________________________________ Global Gecko Association http://www.gekkota.com Classifieds http://www.gekkota.com/cgi-gekkota/classifieds.cgi gecko mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.gekkota.com/mailman/listinfo/gecko
