Jack Corning called me about an hour ago to report he was alive and would be back tomorrow. He was there. He is a long time friend of NCHS and our Bazaar chairman and speaker coordinator in the North Bay Herpetological Society. His voice sounded like it had been a very harrowing experience. Apparently he was calling from a relief center phone bank as the calls were bleeding over each other very badly and he had to be very brief. We have family down in Naples and they said the storm passed 50 miles to the north of them and they made it ok. We were in touch three different times throughout the day.
