Hi there -

I just thought I'd chime in here with a fun climbing product for leos that I found. They are called "Rep-tiles" and are made by Nature Zone - they are lightweight concrete simulated ledges that are stackable and can be arranged in a lot of different ways - making both tunnels and climbing areas. My leos really like them and I like the fact that they are easily washable. The only place that I've seen them available is on the Petsmart web-site, but I'm sure someone else must carry them.

i know my leos love climbing around on stuff. i put big rocks and right now
i have this fake bamboo bridge for them to climb on. even though my guys are
still babies i find them crawling on top of stuff all the time. my roomates
geckos climb on some fake aquarium trees.

in short, IME leopard geckos love to explore and climb around on whatever is
in the tank.

so, i am just now learning the ins and outs and joys of official geckodom
vs
torturing things i caught outside as a kid.

we seem to be doing wonderful.

just curious, what are good forms of mental stimulation rather than "the
hunt" of crickets or worms.

with the climbing gecko's, its easy... those fake plants stuck to the
glass
and climbing equipment.

but what about with the non-climbing fella's.

i don't recall leopards in particular being very water wading creatures.
Lego basks on top of her house. But do we want to put a tunnel (toilet
paper
roll) or maybe a low ramp? more of the plant type things?

if you were a non-climbing gecko that sat around all day basking in the
sun
eating crickets, what might help keep you in shape and add only a small
necessity of excitement to your day?
