Hi Camille
As the book says this species appears to be confined to the Kimboza Forest
in Tanzania. It must be rare and in danger. I found this on a Tanzania
Ministry of Natural Resources website:

"However, the small remaining and isolated portion of the coastal forests as
a result of forest loss and fragmentation have concentrated a variety of
endemic species in restricted areas. As an example, the blue gecko
Lygodactylus williamsi, is an endemic lizard species found only on Pandanus
stem in Kimboza forest reserve in Morogoro region. Due to small remaining
portion of these coastal forests, they are disappearing at an alarming rate.
Forests in the coastal zone amount to only 13% of the zone and 75% of these
forests are reserves."
