Hi Julie -
I think they look fairly white, but I'll have to take another look... What am I looking for (what is the difference between what a chalk sac looks like vs. an abscess)? I don't know if this helps, but the reason I had taken him to the vet in the first place was that he had parasites (hookworm & pinworm)... I had trouble with the first vet that I took him to (they prescribed the incorrect medication), so I had to take him to another one. The poor guy has been through a lot :(

Hi Dana,
Sometimes chalk sacs can do this, how do they look on the outside?

Hi All -
I took my P.m. grandis to the vet yesterday and he has these whitish ball shaped growths in the back of his throat (the poor guy is having a hard time swallowing). The vet thought it was abscesses and gave me antibiotics to treat it. Has anyone seen anything like this before and is that definitely what it is? Any info would be much appreciated.
