im not totally sure, but i am a student at nc state university in raleigh and there is a herpetology teacher named harold heatwole who i have heard has big interests with australian herps. you can look up his email on the ncsu website by clicking on the directories link on the main page. only thing is he's not an australian, but theres a possibility he might be able to point you to professional researchers in the area, if that's what your concern is (if you're just trying to buy some australian native geckos, nevermind this recommendation).
