I too have to say that I am happy to see postings on this list... it was kind of getting eerie. I hope everyone had a good winter! (Well, those of us in New England are still having it!)
Anyway, I have just embarked upon my first breeding project. I put my 2 adult crested geckos together to mate a couple of weeks ago. The female has lost 4g in that time and the male also looks a little stressed - his color is darker than normal. I am thinking that I must separate them and am wondering if I should be freaking out about this, if you think I ought to definitely separate them, and has anybody else had this happen? Some background to this: these two were raised in the same tank until they became sexually mature and then I separated them because I didn't want them to mate right away. Right around that time, I found out they had pinworms, for which they were treated successfully and for the last couple of months I had been fattening up the female (she was 48.2g when I put her in the tank with the male 2 weeks ago, and now she is 44.3g).
Thanks in advance for any advice or info! - Dana ------------------------- Dana Chyung Providence, RI [EMAIL PROTECTED]
