Provided you're in a relatively warm climate - not too cold, not too
hot such that you need to worry about cooking or freezing them on the
short commute, it should be easy.

What I have done in the past is lightly pack them in a deli cup or
other container with a lid, with whatever your substrate of choice
is.  More than anything, you're worried about them rolling or drying
out.  Be careful not to get them too wet such that they suffocate.

You may also choose to get a DC to AC inverter from an autoparts
store and plug the hovabator into your cigarette lighter. If
temperature is to be an issue.

Like I said, most important is to make sure they don't roll or drown
or dry...
