I am primarily a breeder of Australian pythons. Our pair of Aussie geckos, Cilarus, are just something that makes me smile every time I look into their enclosure.

Three days ago I believe I observed was our little girl's first ovulation. She got super fat and bumpy in the tummy and then settled back to the plump and well rounded girl she has become recently.

In pythons there is good data on the time between ovulation and pre lay slough and egg deposition.

Does the same data exist for geckos?

Did I in fact observe what I thought to be ovulation?

Do geckos have a pre lay slough?

What is the time between ovulation and pre lay slough?

What is the time between ovulation and egg deposition?

What is the time between pre lay slough and egg deposition?

When are we due our first pair of eggs?

thanks in anticipation, __daavid
