PICTUS GECKOS

I recently purchased 2 Pictus Geckos and I know absolutely nothing about
them, I have looked up online but not overly sure about using that
information. I like to get personal best for any lizard in my care. If
any one can tell me anything about these little guys it would be much
appriciated, I have them on a coconut bark substrate which I try and
keep fairly moist, I have them In a 10gal tank with one of those jungle
type fake plants, I feed them medium crickets dusted with leopard gecko
calci dust. I also keep a hider hut in there for them and a small water
dish. Is there anything else I need to do for their habitat? Also know
nothing on the breeding or sexual habits of these lizards(so anything to
help with this would be appriciated) I do have a male and a female. Well
thanks to all.

I have been to Jamaican on a cruise. I was there for something like 8
hours? Beautiful place. Easily the most beautiful place I have been to.
I don't know a lot about herping but I remember there being beautfiul
anoles everywhere. This was around Dunn's River Falls.
You will love it regardless. Good luck and take lots of pics!

LOL! Let's say Greg and Leann Christenson had something to do with that,
want to tell the story about that time in Orlando (or was it Daytona?)
BTW Leann did the photos! :) I have not seen the magazine yet, I'm sure
they look fantastic though!

has anyone looked at the Tokays that have been coming in the last year?
They are very pale, more timid and supposedly from Vietnam.
I bought a pair, but they did poorly.

This was around Dunn's River Falls.<BR>You will love it regardless. Good

Its tokay breeding season and all four of our very big males (Bester,
the
famous tame tokay, Deo, Frodo and Indium) are all trying to outdo each
other. Its all very fun until we can't hear the TV or phone
conversations
over the tokay calls.

Greg swears that he is going to record each of them -- they all have
unique
calls and we can tell who is currently "tokaying."

Never thought I'd hear Julie Bergman say anything nice about Tokay
geckos,
but just saw her nice article in the May 2006 Reptiles magazine.

Nice job, Julie!!!

how are they different? Like deeper or is the call different? I think I

I was treated to a couple of little grey Phelsuma guimbeaui guimbeaui
babies today that hatched out in situ. :) Caught them without damaging
them, hooray! They are an interesting contrast to their green parents!
:)
