You're always such a big help.  I love watching my gecko wave her tail like that, the movement is so neat and fluid.  I'm glad that it's not because she's scared.

Most of the time they do this for mating, courtship or territorial
behaviors, maybe she sees herself in a reflection. Maybe she likes you
or doesn't like you! Sometimes tail waving is involved in hunting,
usually that is tail rattling (also for courtship, the males do this)
though.
