Hi Sherron,

The gecko looks healthy. I really think it is a case of unusual
coloration. There are photos of unusually blue Phelsuma laticauda (example
http://www.nephrurus.org/geck_phels_laticauda.htm, related sub species
with a lot of blue
http://www.ig-phelsuma.de/haltungsberichte/grossbild/laticau3.html)as well
as albino specimens(example http://www.gekkota.com/html/p__laticauda.html
- also notice the bluish tail tip on the first specimen). Some other
species of Phelsuma with unusual blue -
