Thank you Tracy. We went through the same thing with our rat. We can
only do what we think is best and I also have feelings of guilt no
matter which choice I make. Do I let them die on their own when I know
they are suffering? Do I hasten their death when it might increase their
suffering, but for a shorter time? How can I know which hurts them more?
At least we love them and try to do what we think hurts them the least.
But I remember them all, too. And they all haunt me. :(
