thanks Tony,
my favorite Bert memory involves you and Ron.
Our mad Herp posse on the loose in Minnesota.
Bert filmed that there event!
He was the hardest working and most passionate man I ever met.

Lyle,
Thanks for posting this.
Bert was a phenomenal guy and good friind and will be missed. I've
posted links to a couple of photos, the first is Bert with his good
friend Ron Tremper at the Midwest Herp Symposium in 2005. The second
photo is one that Bert took of himself just before he gave a talk at
the Minnesota Herp Society in 2002.

Sadly our good friend, Bert Langerwerf, has passed away.
For those who knew him, it's a crazy sad day.
For those who don't, please look up his articles and read about his
facility.
He was a great man and the hardest working person I ever met.
Below is the post by his son to Kingsnake:
Bert passed away today at 14:45 central time. He will be cremated
tomorrow, Tuesday. There will be a memorial later in the year, but no
date has been set yet. It will probably be many weeks or several
months from now.
Sincerely,
Timo Langerwerf, Bert's son.
