What are the symptoms that you interpret as infection? Leos don't shed an eyecap like snakes and geckos that don't have eyelids -- in those animals the 'eyelid' is permanently closed, sealed and transparent, so there's something to shed. One time one of my leos got a piece of shed skin in her eye. It moved around under the eyelid, sometimes covering part of the eye. It didn't seem to bother her a bit, but after a week or so of waiting for her to get rid of it herself I got it off by touching an exposed part of it with a wet cotton swab.
