Joe & GGA Members:

Elections

According to the GGA By Laws, elections can only be valid if the vote is
made in person or by mail. I really wish we could have another option
but to keep everything legal (the GGA's 501(c)(3) non-profit status
requires this) a mail-in vote is important.

To make it as easy as possible, the election form can be returned with
the renewals. Good for anyone renewing by check. But if anyone is
renewing by PayPal, the only way for a vote to count is to mail the form
back.

Getting a new Board voted in is especially urgent as the only remaining
active board members are Chris Nelling and myself. All the other board
members have stepped down or retired.

Year 5 Publications

All Year 5 publications were mailed which include Chit Chats 17, 18, 19
and 20 and Gekko 5.1. As is usual, our membership year runs longer than
a 12 month calendar year.

If this helps, these pictures were under the table of contents:

No. 17 - Nephrurus milii

No. 18 - Hoplodactylus sp

No. 19 - Chondracdactylus turneri

No. 20 -Hoplodactulus sp

Editor

One more item to think about: The GGA is looking for a new Editor. Our
previous editor, John Rudge has retired the position. If you know of
anyone who is interested or would be idea for the position, please let
me know and I will pass it on to the new Board.

Thanks.

Leann

GGA Membership Secretary

Subject: Re: [gecko]publications updates - both GGA and new books

So, I got V5.N2 today - looks great, just started to read it.

In the envelope, I got an election ballot and a renewal notification.

Two questions:

1. Can I just email Leann my vote?

2. I lost track, did we get all issues of Chit Chat (17 - 20)?

thanks,

        Joe
