Hi Leann,
When you have time, after the geckos are fed (that comes first!) can we
get dates attached to these "years"? That would make it more
meaningful. Especially since our $-per-year income from memberships
can't be figured the way one normally would, this affects budgeting --
we don't know how long a year is.....

A GGA Membership year, to date, is based on publications. Sometimes
it would take a year and a half to get 2 Gekko and 4 Chit Chats out,
sometimes it would take four years.

Does anyone know what the timeframe required for the GGA to fulfill its
publication responsibilities - ex. Year 5 or 6, and how long did that
membership year last?

Currently, this board has money to produce the final Chit Chat of the
year:
Chit Chat 24. This board does not have the money to print Gekko 6.2.
To fulfill the Board's current obligations to Year 6, Chit Chat 23 and
Gekko
6.2 are all that remains.
Traditionally, renewal requests and voting ballots are put in the
final chit
chat of the year. CC 24 would be that publication.
Suggest this board focus on fulfilling Year 6 obligations. Makes Changes
for Year 7

Year 7 obligations have not been made. Year 7 is an ideal time to make
MAJOR changes. Planning should begin NOW.
Appoint a Publications Committee (wow, almost sounds like the Editorial
Board) to look at Chit Chat. Board is getting bogged down.
All but one board member agrees that Chit Chat faces changes.
