I just lost a lot of careful re-layout work thanks to Alt-F4 on a PCB
window.

Any chance we can link it to the same "Loose-data?" dialog you get on
file-exit (GTK+ HID?)

what is Alt-F4?

Sorry, Alt-F4 a common shortcut in many window managers to destroy the
window being used. I expect the behaviour I mean needs tying in to the
"destroy_event" on the main window.

Or was this just a dig at my in-accurate (window-manager bindings
specific) bug-winge?

no, just wanting more info. Alt-F4 on my computer brings up a list of windows.

It probably wouldn't be hard in the gtk one to tie into the destroy event. I can try and take a look. I know less about the lesstif HID.
