Steve -- I am running a Fedora 5 system with g++ 4.1.1:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] verilog-0.8.4]$ g++ --version g++ (GCC) 4.1.1 20060525 (Red Hat 4.1.1-1) Copyright (C) 2006 Free Software Foundation, Inc. This particular system is pretty much a vanilla system -- I haven't loaded it up with cruft yet. I was able to compile 0.8.4 with no problems. If desired, I can send you a log of the configure && make session. Just ask I will will send it. Perhaps the person reporting the error had a bunch of junk cluttering up his machine?
