How much weight would it take to get something like "Engineering" bumped to be a main category? I'd imagine this could cover a whole HOST of CAD packages and design tools. I'd also imagine something like "Science" or "Math" should be made top-level too. Is it worth trying to contact some of the people listed at: http://standards.freedesktop.org/menu-spec/menu-spec-latest.html to see if there was any rational behind this apparent omission?
