Hi Peter, it seems I've found the source of the problem. When gsch2pcb tries to move tes.pcb.new.tmp to tes.pcb.new, tes.pcb.new may already exist. In this case, on local FS, it's simply overwritten, on sshfs the result is operation not permitted.
There is a workaround option for this in sshfs, if it's turned on, the problem is gone. However, I still think gsch2pcb should be more robust and should be prepared to things like permission problems or disk space shortage and xgsch2pcb should report such problems.
