Dear all,

I've just pushed a long outstanding patch which cleans up the TOPLEVEL
structure into a libgeda part and a gschem part.

(commit f914d437f4a76df5ba28e80e7dab6f55996a8b59)

libgeda:
TOPLEVEL, canonically referred to by the variable name "toplevel"

gschem:
GSCHEM_TOPLEVEL, canonically referred to by the variable "w_current"

There are still some app-specific variables in TOPLEVEL, some which
really belong in gschem, but are used in libgeda in ways non-trivial to
remove. Some remain for gnetlist, but I'm not as concerned about those
(there aren't too many).

I'm extending an offer I made to Ales...

I hereby volunteer to re-base any patches people have outstanding which
break due to this change. (Or any of the GList'ification changes
hopefully coming soon).

Best wishes,
